Has the Toyota ZR engine any advantage over the Toyota New Dynamic force engine

Hello to all, my question is if the Toyota ZR (2ZR-FXE) engine has any advantage over the New Dynamic force engine of Toyota (M20A).

yes 2ZR-FXE  it does have two advantages that I can think off: 

1. Corolla’s equipped with this engine are more fuel efficient 

2. The engine is less complicated- easier to work on as diy service or repairs
