I have 2.0 litre Excel hybrid estate, 20 plate done just 11,000 miles the front tyres are getting very low.

What tyres would any of you chaps recommend to replace the Falken 18" fitted?

Regards,

Ian

If you are only replacing the two fronts Ian I would just replace them with the same.

If you're replacing all four there are many options including all weather tyres such as Michelin cross climates, etc 👍

If just after 11000 miles only the tyres are getting low I would not buy the same one and simply change all 4 tyres for something better. Michelin, Goodyear, Continental or mid range Hankook, Nexen , Vredestein   etc.

have had tyres on cars that only lasted 10k and all good makes michelin, Continental etc. i like the michelin cross climate, but several cars ago the car came with bridgestones , didn`t like them but they were still on the car when sold on at23k.  buy the best you can afford, they are the only thing between you and the ditch.

It depends on what proformance you want from a tyre.

IE proformance in icy conditions or maximum milage or a trade off between the two plus other factors like road noise ect.

Rear tyres last twice as long.
