I need your help, I can't seem to locate the fuse for the front turning signals on my 97 corolla. Does anybody know where it is located or where in general it may be? I don't believe its in the fuse box under the hood or under the steering wheel. I have the haynes manual and doesn't show me.

My turning signals are being a !Removed!. I never thought this would escalade to such a big problem. I bought this car used with the front ones not working and seems like the previous owner didn't bother fixing it either. I mean today I was testing out everydamn wire, switch, fuse that related to the turing signals and still haven't found the route of my problem. I used a meter and everything seems to have power fine. The bulb, fuses, switch is in tact. What could be causing this? I refuse to take it to a mechanic because I have a feeling he'll spend a good few hours just finding the problem which would be pretty damn expensive to fix. What is ****** me off is the fact that the Haynes manual wiring doesn't match up to mine which means their might have been some tampering with before. Anyway, does anybody have any other ideas I could try before I go crazy.

I found the fuse fine. What I need to know is which one is the flasher unit. I know it's in the driver's footwell, but there's no diagram printed on the car, and there isn't one in the Haynes manual that I can see.

I've rung my local toyota dealer, and they just said bring it in for us to look at. Yeah right, so they can charge me a fortune cos I'm a girl.

If anyone could help I'd be really grateful. I might be a girlie, but I can manage to change a relay, if someone will just tell me which one it is :(

This may not be the same for yours, as mine is a LHD US-spec car, but it's worth a shot. The picture in the wiring diagram shows it as being 2nd to the top, with the power main relay being the only relay above it, and the starter relay to the left of it. I have a factory wiring diagram, so if you need more info, just ask.

Cheers Red.

I just flipped it round in my head to make it RHD and there it was. Thank you ever so

And if that offer of the factory wiring diagram is still open, I'll take it.

Thanx again. :D
