1AD-FTV 2.0 D4D Injectors interchangeable?

Hi everyone,

I recently posted in Verso forums about an issue I'm having with car. So far I can only think of injectors. As Verso and Avensis both use same injectors I thought I'll post in this forum to see if anyone had similar issue or might be able to help me out.

I would like to replace them all but new injectors are expensive and used off eBay have no guarantee they will be any better. I see Toyota Auris 1AD-D4D 2.0 D4D has slightly different injectors fitted. I was wondering if they were interchangeable with Avensis/ Verso? Can they be coded to Verso/Avensis?

Why I want to try Auris injectors? Well they can be refurbished and are available for much less than Verso/Avensis whereas Verso/Avensis injectors can't be refurbished and only option is new or used. I've posted some photos of both engines for reference. Although they look very different from outside injector supply and return pipes look the same. It's just return pipe is underneath top cover for Auris. And Auris injectors have slightly bigger top.

Any Toyota technicians or someone with knowledge of these engines able to guide me in the right direction?
