Cruise Control

HELP help please for fruitcake sake

I this years Yaris cross and I just cannot understand how to operate cruise control with the steering wheel controls.

Please it is driving, no pun intended, CRAZY.

Press 3 o'clock button. Short press activates ACC.  Long press activates CC. 

Press 6 o'clock button.  This SETs the current speed as the desired speed. 

Press the 12 o'clock button to increase desired cruise speed.  If you selected ACC is increases in 5 mph jumps, first jump is to the next 5 mph above current. If you selected CC it will increase in 1 mph increments. 

Press Centre button disengages. 

Press 12 o'clock it Resumes. 

Press 6 o'clock it decreases. 

Press brake, it disengages. 

Press 9 o'clock it sets Limit speed. 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock increase and decrease. 

Simples. 

Give it a year or two and you will soon get the idea 😁

Took me a while but worked it out eventually kept pressing speed limit button instead and ending up doing 40mph on motorway before realising what was happening 😳. What was wrong with the old extra stalk that you could use without looking.

Ralph, quite.  I fitted CC to my SAAB. Two way rocker on indicator stalk.  Brake to disengage.  Merc had a stalk with press for Limit. 

Trouble now with ACC/CC.
