Does a little go a long way?

I believe that this additive package is what makes fuel so different from the different petrol stations and also the reason why I usually find the E5 99 better performer than E10 95. Unfortunately in the recent weeks my car shows exactly opposite behaviour and does drive better on E10 95 from my favourite BP  than previous fill ups from Tesco E5 99, how strange indeed. I may try E5 99 from another garage BP or Shell and see if any difference but the price its simply too high for my fuel needs.

What is the major difference between fuels I notice : i

-when fuel is better quality the car feels very light and acceleration responsive and engine quiet , similar to when you drive with correct pressure in your tyres and when petrol its not of a good quality or type then the car feels exactly opposite , similar to when you are driving with under inflated tyres and the car is simply dead, heavy  and engine is noisier.

If you're near the London-end of the M11 at all, the Shell station in the village of Abridge still has E10 for 162.9!

I think word has got out tho' as it's very busy!!

I usually don't bite on cheap prices as most of the time cheap petrol means poor quality. I will rather fill up at my favourite bp e10 95 at £171.9 but I believe its worth it. Got a new stp additive to try too. Thanks for the tip anyway , I do pass sometimes nearby.

Yes, some fuel brands like Shell V power have 2x detergent than regular super95 but they are all the same wherever and whatever the price are, as long they are sold by Shell, BP,etc. So, I always shop for the most crowded cheap gas station with the most fresh fuel.  E5 and E10 degrade much faster than no ethanol fuel.
