Had my C-HR for 7 months now and absolutely love it, was a bit worried about ''reported'' low power but, not experienced it yet and I live among the hills of Derby/Notts border.  Not fully up to speed with such as Android Auto its not worth setting up on short runs.

I use the AA wireless dongle in my C-HR, at the moment I leave it connected & just sitting in the front cup holder.

Phone connects automatically in about 20 second when you switch the ignition on.

AA wireless dongle, what is that and where did you get it from, seems there are quite a few different ones and prices, which is best in your opinion.

I got mine about 18 months ago when it was on Indiegogo.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless#/

They do have there own online shop now.

https://www.aawireless.io/

Basically you plug it in to the vehicle USB port where normally you would connect your phone & it connects your phones Android Auto function wirelessly.

There is a companion app you download to your smart phone which is used to set up the AA Wireless dongle on first use in a new vehicle, update the firmware etc.

After it's initial set up you can just get in your car & it will boot up in to the Android Auto screen in under 30 seconds.

I can only report on this AA Wireless dongle as its the only one I've had experience of in 2 different vehicles now - once set up it works perfectly fine.

The power is adequate for your requirement so that is all it matters. I like the design of it from the outside it looks sporty.

I did considered getting one of these but the rear space let it down for me, I regularly have 4-5 ppl in the car and sometimes for really long distance like going to Wales etc.

Like your lavenders btw, looks really nice. 🤩

Very adequate, our trips are usually into France or Germany so I have the spare tyre which makes the boot room less, never a problem for the two of us. Lavender is my wife's favourite.
