Has anyone bought pedal pads online to stop this.   Did the problem stop.

That's funny as I have the opposite problem - My boots grip the pedals too much! Not as much a problem now with the Mk4, but made clutch finesse a bit tricky every time I got new boots as I had to relearn the subtle movements.

What kind of shoes do you wear while driving?

Auto ? You end up polishing or a wearing to corners or one 1 spot, you could try roughing it up with a course sandpaper/abrasive, ideally you just replace them

Brake or clutch (both use the same rubber) 31321-0H010

Thanks For that info. Bought some online and been driving today.  I’m trying to find one for accelerator pedal as foot. Slips a bit but the pads online are too big.

What ones did you get out of curiosity?

The throttle pedal is a complete unit, so you will not get a cover - try a different pair of flat shoes that are the correct size for your feet, it's surprising how much difference, properly sized shoes make (length and width)

Nothing a drill and some countersunk screws can't sort out! :naughty:
