Hi

Just joined FB, Can't find anything on my car herein - it's a JDM Toyota Blademaster G - anyone else on here own one ?

I'm in Wales, have owned the car for 2 years, have never seen another one on UK roads.

For those who've never seen one here's a pic of my car:-  Yep I know it looks like an Auris:)!!

Don’t own one but this Pistonheads article makes it sound intriguing:

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=47&t=1700272

The article describes it as a ‘Gentleman’s express for shy types’, which sounds  like just my kind of car. Classic example of a ‘Q car’, by the looks of it.

There have been a couple of owners join previously. Only available as a grey import in the UK.

The Blade and Blademaster were versions of the Auris with 2.4 and 3.5 llitres engines respectively. Both discontinued when the second generation Auris was introduced in 2012.

Nice colour 👌

I have seen one in white this year at Silverstone when was Toyota event, it was automatic but I didn’t really talked to the owner as it was horrible 🌧

An Auris with a 3.5L V6?? That sounds awesome!

It even has a stupid boy racer name!! :naughty:

Why do they keep hogging all these awesome cars for JDM only??

(I'm going to guess EU fleet CO2 limits :crybaby: )

Yep it's NOT a boy racer car - It's a real Q car - makes all the silly boy racers with loud exhausts and big spoilers, flashing tyre valves etc etc look real slow donkey's:)

It's similar to my hubby's Legacy GTB - infact:) very restrained on the eye, Plod doesn't notice it:)

Say Hi if you see me around.

I'm looking for a spare wheel or set of wheels 17x7" similar to those on the pic I posted above of the car, I believe they were also fitted to Auris sr180 and the diesel versions which were sold in UK.

Thanks for the replies and the pistonheads link above:)

My hubby's a member on PH, and he started a thread about my car: - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=261&t=1903595

You may like to read the thread it's interesting if you like this kinda car, surprisingly given the size of pistonheads forums, no one else appears to own one in UK, I've seen one other for sale on eBay.UK  but don't know who bought it or even whether it sold?  Maybe someone on here knows??

By the way I call my car  - 'Wesley'

What do other TOC members call theirs?

For those interested here's another pic of Wesley:-
