Just recently acquired an Aygo registered 9/2015

I've noticed that the near side rear light assembly is misting up, but tends to dry up  a bit during the day

On other days the assembly appears full of moisture both in the red and white parts

Could this be due to a water leak or just condensation ?

Regards

Hi,

misting rear lights can indicate a water ingress into the boot area via lights seals. Best to investigate for water inside the boot spare wheel area, rear seats and boot. If any traces of water found you will need to dismantle lights clusters, clean the area where they mounts to the car body, clean the clusters themselves on inner sides , replace seals. This is typical for Toyota cars as they are designed the rain water to evacuate through the clusters down the rear bumper. 👍
