I have a 1988 EE90L 2E engine which served faithfully for over 380,000 km and then I made a mistake and let it get too hot. I'd like to rebuild the little go getter and for this I need some pointers. Is it possible to rebore the blocks and where does one get oversize pistons and rings in Europe? Is it possible to grind the crankshaft?

I might need a few new valves too and of course new bearings all around with appropriate undersize for the crank. Any ideas.

What about a little bit hotter cam?

Thanks cuz I'm looking forward to giving new life to my faithful friend.

not familiar with the 2E engine but yes oversise pistons and crank bearigs will be availiable. not sure of places where you are but your local engine recondtioner should be able to source the parts for you
