Cargo cover/cargo net bar in Touring Sports

There are two large metal clips on the lower side of the cargo net bar. Does anyone know what these are for? No reference in the handbook.

Attaching the unit to the backs of the seats when folded flat.

Thanks for the information and the manual.  I had no idea that the latter was available; the dealer didn't mention it.

Lots of things they don't mention, too many to list but you will find all the gripes here 🙂

You should also by now have noticed the second pair of slots/brackets above the rear doors for the retractable cargo net to attach to when the seats are flat. I will say however that the plastic bracket/flip down covers for the slots are very flimsy
