Hilux invincible: Can't open the doors

Can anyone help!

I can't enter my vehicle because the doors will not open both either the remote control or key.

How can I resolve this problem - to open the door?

Scenario

My twin can pick-up could not start as batteries were flat. 

Day one, I open the vehicle with the remote control, as usual, then open the bonnet and disconnected batteries from the pick-up and charged them.

Day two, I opened the pick-up, thereafter reconnected batteries to the vehicle and tried to start it again, but no joy. I suspected that the home charger was no good.

Day three, I called a friend so we could take the batteries to check there status and if OK give them a rapid charge - that was the plan.  Then, I could not open the Hilux doors with either the remote or my key. Basically, I am locked out of my pick-up because of flat batteries, I guess.

Does any know of or suggest a fix?
