Headlight replacement £££££ cost. FYI

While parked the other day, someone  reversed into me and cracked the left headlight's support. Result is, it sags by about half an inch. As there's no support replacement, I will either ignore it or spend €360 or £305 plus labor for a new headlight. By the by, the LED headlight replacement cost is €970 οr £ 819. That's what Toyota Greece charges. Ouch! The days of cheap motoring are well and truly over.

This should be an insurance claim or may cost an excess of £0000’s . If the light is not perfectly aligned to the rest of the body it may have more damage that can be seen, these cars can suffer a lots of damage, ac gas lost, radiators damage, sensor damage, everything. A little knock can means even a write off car. Best to get insurance to sort of or at least get it check by professional, perhaps a Toyota dealer.

Thanks Tony. It's the Toyota dealership bodyshop supervisor who suggested that changing the headlight will do the job. The other point of my note today was the ## absurd cost of these replacement parts. ##
