I just got back from a holiday in SW Scotland. That's around 370 miles each way plus about 150 miles travelling to golf courses while there. I broke the journey up/down with an overnight (and a round of golf, lol). The average (measured pump to pump) for the journeys up/down was 71 mpg and that was at 60 mph (cruise control) except for roadworks. The overall average was 67 mpg. A/C was on all the time.

Not bad.

Great figures Andrue 👌

Driving sensibly these cars are really efficient 👍

Topped up this morning as I needed to stop for a milk and calculation shows 63.3mpg even better than my average on the dashboard 62.7mpg

Andrue, what was your average speeds?  I think for similar trips I did over 50.

Mine is mid forties for the long trips. The shorter trips around the area were mid 20s. One trip of 100 miles was to the north so involved climbing over some hills.

Quite a good speed. I just dug out a July trip, 57mph,  61.7mpg, next leg 36 and 67.4, then 32 and 66.5.
