Hi all.

About to take delivery of my new RAV4 and wondering what you all think are the best wind deflectors?

The dealership ones are almost £250.

Hyko. About £35 ish. Nothing wrong with them at all apart from the securing clips that have very sharp edges.

regards Terry.

I fitted AutoClover on my 21 Dynamic, wasn’t too sure about them being self adhesive, but they’ve been on for around 12 months and are absolutely solid.

Main reasons I went with them, 1. They cover the chrome around the top of the doors. 2. They are a 6 piece kit and includes the short piece for over the rear quarter window, personally I think the look better.

Hi Rigsby.

I have been looking at these. However they say they need 48 hours of dry weather after fitting. Is this correct?

I did mine in the morning one weekend, left it over night (used the wife’s car) drove it next day (only local at low speed) and has been fine.

Follow the instructions regarding using the supplied degreaser and cleaner and keep your speed down for a day or two, since mine have been on I’ve done many thousands of motorway miles, no problems.
