Screen clean.

Has anyone any tips on cleaning my windscreen as it smears badly when i use the wipe/wash or when its raining  i assume someone has accidently touched it with car polish or wash and wax  its fine when dry but like looking through thick fog when damp/wet.

There are lots of methods online but I found rubbing alcohol, also known as isopropyl alcohol, is a strong solution and can help loosen the wax residue off your car. Once you have cleaned it try spraying rainx on the screen both methods worked for me and no more smears.

Also check your Wiper Blades change them if needed and wipe any residue of wax off.

Hi Max,

Amazon do it £2.99p or try surgical spirit you can get this from most places. Rainx from most supermarkets Aldi, etc.

I had similar problems and eventually bought this from Halfords, brilliant stuff and would recommend.
