TNS510 2021 Map Upgrade advice

Hi all, new member checking in 🙂

I am the latest owner of an enormous shiny Black T27 Tourer, our first Toyota car and first impressions are that it's a solid car.

Wife is keen on upgrading the map data for the TNS510 unit, and after doing some searching around I seem to have two options, both coming in at £35

Has anyone used either of these sites? is there anything I need to know before stumping up the readies?

i've already downloded a loading kiwi file 'just in case' which I found through this website, which has been very helpful so far

Welcome 2 Toyota I have a 2014 one and tbh I don't bother with the sat Nav as tbh Google maps are way more better and faster .u nearly have 2 put all the address in those car sat Nav before that's if they show up 2 .tbh In fairness Google maps are the best and I use them all the time easier 2 use and don't need to fill all the address in .I only use my radio for dab+ and usb music that's it .handy for reversing camera 2 lol

I know what you mean about the phone, I use Waze myself and if it was just me driving the car I wouldn't bother updating the unit, but the wife want to use it for ease, Happy Wife Happy Life 😄

 

anyway onto the two websites, just did a bit of digging on Truspilot, interesting reading:

i dont know my model of a radio its called touch 2 i think .its a 2014 plate headunit with sat nav and all on it yep dab+ is a great job tbh never bothered with the in car sat  nav tbh its way 2 award to use google maps is way handier and way better

Update if anyone's interested

Came home to this today, looks to be a genuine Toyota SD card

swapped cards, loading screen = squeaky bum time...

All good 🙂

 

In summary, genny Toyota 2021 EU map data from Satnavishop - £35, no issues at all!
