Send to Car module

I had Send to Car as an option on my Corolla but the option is not there on the Yaris Cross. 

I wonder if it is linked to my user profile as I can't connect. 

I got the car on the first September and have been connected with MyT since 24th Aug.  I tried entering the car registration but that is not recognised. 

Are these connected?

I have send to car but dont use it as map on phone is transferred when I connect usb port

and press map button on car display,

After reg number in MyT, I needed to also input car version number in account settings this brings up your service history.

My registration isn't recognised so I don't get that far.

What model e.g Icon , Design etc and what headunit

• Touch 2, two control knobs and silver buttons
• Touch 2 & GO, as above but with added nav module giving you nav without a Phone connected via Apple car play or Android auto
• Smart Connect larger screen and no control knobs.

The send to car function only works with the second option it is not available on Touch 2 without nav module nor the new Smart connect

We have the :- Smart Connect larger screen and no control knobs ...... on our Yaris Cross Excel ..standard on this trim level

and sadly it doesn't work on our car.

Also at times the sat nav doesnt work as it apparently needs to receive a Phone signal, never had any problems with the previous Touch 2 on our previous Yaris.

Touch 2 has local map data. Smart Connect relies on cloud data. Unfortunately Toyota/Vodafone are having problems with mobile data connection reliability.
