Yaris Cross Boot Stowage

The upper boot floor has two compartments either side for stowage.  Unfortunately they don't have sides to stop stuff sliding into the lower compartment.  Any suggestions for stopping things sliding into the lower area such as bins of even side fences such as the Corolla had.

I actually noticed the same thing in my other half's Cross just yesterday.
Put a few things in the side pockets, took a small trip out, and when arriving at my destination, the pockets were empty - everything had slid into the lower half of the boot area.
I must try looking into either installing some kind of side wall, or finding some sort of insert 'bucket' to keep things in place.
