Daughter has recently acquired our first Japanese car Ran 4 2.0 (2002) !.. - So I've posted my help! issue in the Rav 4 forum - all assistance gratefully received.. Anyway, despite the immediate niggles I'm quite impressed overall with the build quality and general engineering. 

Coming from a background of being a serial Alfa and Maserati owner it's quite nice not to to have to learn the Italian for "I have a small electrical fire "..
