'18 Camry XLE Hybrid won't come out of park!

I'm currently at 79,000 miles. Recently, and now more frequently, when I squeeze the release on the shifter, it's locked and won't release! The first time that it happened, I shut the car OFF and started over and it was all good. The second time it happened, I had to cycle power 3-4 times to get it to release. Today I had to cycle power 7 times to get it out of park! I feel like I'm getting very close to being stranded somewhere!

Besides cycling power, I've tried to put pressure forward, pull back, and tried to wiggle the shifter to no avail. It seems as though the button on the shifter is electronically enabled and disabled. Whatever enables it is keeping it locked. The car comes up to power and is ready to drive when this happens, I just can't get it out of park.

Any suggestions?
