Is this a good idea?....

My Auris is due for a yearly service and MOT in November. The car came with 1 year left on the manufacturer warranty. My question is should I arrange for this to be done a day or so before the warranty expires just in case of any problems?

No issues with the car but is this a good idea to be on the safe side?

Thoughts on this please.

Maybe a few weeks before might be better to allow for resolving any issues should they arise.

Hopefully, no issues.🙂

Not sure how near the date you are allowed to get an MOT? but even if you get a service separate and before the warranty runs out is a good idea 👍

Just checked you can get an MOT up to a month before the due date, so a month before would be a good idea with it being under warranty still.

Just make sure you tell the garage that you want the new MOT dated from when the current MOT expires.
