Is there any instruction not to use C2 engine oil on Toyota?

I want to change the oil (60k kms) in my 2012 Yaris petrol engine and was told that there is an instruction from Toyota not to use C2 oil, only C3. I would like to know if indeed there is such an instruction and I would like to ask for your opinion regarding this oil since as far as I understand, it meet both standards.

In that case this oil it’s not the correct type. Best to stick to manufacturer recommendations.
