Loud buzzing

Hi I have a 62 plate auris hybrid only just noticed when stationary it makes a very loud buzzing noise from the front of the car it's only done 40000 miles

Might be normal, one of the many electric motors and pumps perhaps.

My first wager would be on the AC compressor, if you have that on and in auto mode.

Best to record and share the noise. As cyker says hybrids does indeed make a lots of buzzing sounds. Inverter , ac, brake pump ,

Never heard this loud buzzing before, it use to hum, I will make a video when whether allows it 😂

Indeed, it’s more like a humming sound than buzzing. Buzzing usually occurs when ac compressor is working, it is nosier when it’s hot outside and the compressor is working harder to cool down the cabin faster. 
Does this buzzing happens when the car is ON in P and you are outside around the car? You can try to record it, you can also try with ac on and ac off, in case it is coming from the ac compressor. Low gas in the system does make the ac compressor noisier too. 👍

I noticed it when parked in p but also heard it while stopped at a round about, I will double check the AC theory, hopefully that's the reason and get it booked in for a AC service

Air conditioning making the noise, funnily that day Toyota rang me for its service, so booked in for the whole lot
