I hope someone can put me out of my misery.

I seem to have lost the voice directions from my sat nav, i did mess about with a few settings when trying to get live traffic updates working but now i get nothing, the map works fine it's just the voice i have lost.

I have tried the mute/unmute button on the nav screen and making sure the radio volume is not muted does anyone know what am i doing wrong?

Without checking, I think you will find all the volume controls under Settings or similar on the smart screen, Home>

It's too miserable to go and check the car.

Have you tried the separate nav volume in the sound settings. I can’t remember exactly where the settings are but I had the same problem in my icon tech and found the nav volume on zero.

It’s possible to accidentally change the separate nav volume with the steering wheel volume button if you press it while the satnav is giving instructions which  will not affect the radio volume

Update.

I tried settings, general, volume setting, and as I said earlier it was on number 2 I moved it to 3 and set a destination and the voice worked I then set it back to number 2 and it's still working, happy days.

As previously mentioned I think, you probably accidentally turned it down with the volume knob and changing the setting in the menus has 'reset' it. Good to know (if that is the case).

Sorry that is not the case, as I  said when I went into general volume settings it was still on number two which is my preferred setting it was only after I moved it to 3 it started working again.
