Front brake splash gaurds

Hi, I need to replace both the front brake disc splash gaurds.

The torx screws look difficult to undo with the hub still in place.

Does anyway know an easy way with out cutting the splash gaurds.

I've seen some one pull it off with a slide hammer but that looks like it pulls the bearing apart. He was changing the bearing though.

Job done, I cut it in the end. However, once I cleaned the torx screws up I noticed they also has flats on them so I was able to get a 10mm spanner on them. That made it easier......lol
