Good afternoon

I will be changing the front pads & discs & was wondering if some one can tell the the torque settings for the 17 mm brake carrier bolts & also the brake calliper bolts.

Many thanks in advice

Hi,

17mm carrier bolts at 107Nm,

slider pins bolts at 34Nm.

Wheels nuts at 103Nm.

Are you working on hybrid? If yes there are some extra procedures that needs to be done otherwise you may get yourself into a trouble.
Brake system needs to be depressurised, 12v Battery disconnected before start any work on the brakes.

Best to fit everything dry without any grease anywhere between discs and hubs, hubs and wheels and on the pads, also very important to clean and lube the slider pins with silicone grease.

After you replace all parts with 12v Battery still disconnected press brake pedal twice slowly to the floor. Check if pistons properly return.
With wheels still off the ground rotate each wheel to make sure it’s rotating freely.
Connect 12v Battery open drivers door and wait for the booster pump to pressurise the system, then press brake and start the car. 👍

You are welcome.
Except the electric brake booster tips the rest pretty much apply to standard petrol or diesel models., perhaps no need to disconnect the Battery too.
Good luck  👍
