Corolla T-Sport Compressor - How much oil does the supercharger actually need?

Hi all,

As the title says, I'm trying to find out how much oil the supercharger actually requires.

I've seen various posts on the forum discussing the oil required, yet nobody has managed to confirm how much oil they'd used.

I ask because I've found the oil on eBay, with 200ml for ~£12 and 1ltr for ~£40.

Not looking to overspend and have the oil waste away so looking for exact amounts required.

The supplemental owners manual only mentions the type of oil required and not the actual amount.

Other than saying to use Klübersynth GH6-80 of Klüber Lubrication (www.klueber.com) the manual just says:

I've recently overhauled my TX12 blower. i presumed the oil full line would be at the top of the criss cross part of the dip stick. thanks to Lees pic, I've drained the oil and replaced it with 75ml of new oil which brings it to the correct level, as on the diagram.

Thanks for replying and sorry for getting back to you so late! Thanks for confirming how much oil you used, I'm comfortable in getting the smaller bottle now. How did you overhaul the TX12? I dont think I'll need to do it anytime soon, but itll be helpful to get back to in the future. I've had a look in the forums but couldn't find anyone providing any info on it.
