2007 Yaris SR Radio Constant Beep

Whenever I turn on my radio, there will just be a constant beep sounding. Before, this would usually go away after a couple of minutes (similar to the green cool warning light – not sure if linked or just coincidental).

I could bear it like that, but now it seems to last almost indefinitely, and won’t go away after 30 minutes.

Does anybody have any idea of what’s causing this and how to fix it?

Some additional information is that my 12V socket wasn’t working a while back but I replaced the fuse and it’s all good if that’s any use to my current situation.
