Fuel efficiency

Hi All toyota highlander/kluger owners with hybrid engines. I am just wondering what fuel efficiency you are getting . Apparently the real world efficiency is meant to be about 6.6L/km (for the 2022 hybrid engine)?

Hi.  Best I can offer is based on a recent 3 hour test drive in a UK spec Highlander Excel Hybrid, covering just over 52 miles (84 km).  The trip computer gave 43.2 miles per UK Gallon, which is 6.5 L/100km.   The weather was dry and temperature went from 10°C to 13°C during the drive.

This was on a mixture of fast A-Roads at 70 mph (113 km/h), a little spirited acceleration and then mainly sedate rural and town driving at 30-60 mph (48-97 km/h).

Fuel consumption calculated by the car has been about 2% optimistic in my current RAV4 Hybrid, while all previous Toyotas I'd owned were about 5% optimistic.
