Hello everyone i’m a newbie around here! and please forgive my ignorance if i have asked this on the wrong bit of the website. I have a 2018 Yaris Hybrid 1.5 CVT which i’m very pleased with. 

I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding out how much horsepower my car has? on different websites for example Parker’s they mention a 111 HP figure for both manual and cvt hybrids. However on the my toyota app it says my yaris has 73 HP… i’m confused on what figure to trust. i thought when i bought the car it was a 100 HP. can anyone shine some light on this for me

Moved to the Yaris forum.

The Toyota Yaris 1.5 VVti petrol has 111bhp in both manual and CVT forms.

The Toyota Yaris 1.5 hybrid has 73bhp produced by the petrol engine, and when combined with the electrical motor in the hybrid system, has 98-100bhp.The transmission in the hybrid is an e-CVT, rather than CVT.
