So what relevance does a price rise in China have to a UK based owners club?

The cost of the car is based on USD. Thus might update price in other countries. GBP dramaticly lost value against USD, we will wait and see if Toyota UK will update the price list.

The same will apply to other cars in the Toyota range - eg the Rav4 which is also built in Japan, etc.
