Hi guys

Iam new to the site ,my 2011 estima is making a rattling noise and I've seen on here that people are saying it could be the power toke off grommets, or known as sads ,does anyone know were to get them or the part number

Thanks ricky67

Hi, welcome.

Given yours is a 2011, I doubt it will be the SADs as these were only with the first variant of the Estima.

I’d take it to a reputable garage (one that isn’t worried about it being an import) and get it assessed.

I,am only going by pass comments ,

Seem to make the noise only when you put it in reverse and when I stop ,but if I put it in neutral the noise goes, but it only last for about 20 mins until the engine gets up to full temperature,

Then seems to go (strange)

I took it to the local garage but they can't look at it until the end of October,

so I will have to wait the guy didn't seemed bothered that it was a import .

So will keep this site posted once they diagnosed the noise

Thanks ricky67

Could be an engine or transmission mount.

Worse still, a mechanical noise caused by excessive wear.
