Factory standards

1ltr = Capacity (cc) 998

Power (bhp) 67

0-60 mph 14.0 secs

Max Torque 66 lb/ft @ 4100 rpm

1.3= Capacity (cc) 1299

Power (bhp) 85

0-60 mph 13.0 secs

Max Torque 91 lb/ft @ 4200 rpm

1.4TD= Capacity (cc) 1364

Power (bhp) 74

0-60 mph 13.0 secs

Max Torque 124 lb/ft @ 4000 rpm

1.5 TS= Capacity (cc) 1497

Power (bhp) 105

0-60 mph 9.0 secs

Max Torque 107 lb/ft @ 4200 rpm

I may have an extra 1, 2 bhp if lucky from my induction kit so running around 105, 107 bhp

instead of having my amp wired upto the battery, is there anything else i can wire it to? to prevent less power being consumed in battery!

simple answer - no

i have heard of Battery power reserves though, a sortof power cap design that stores power from the Battery and then releases when the cars engine requires it most, i.e. when you boot it. so the injectors and other electronic gizmos dont reieve power starvation and 'spikes'

yet to be a proven thing though

BHP on it's own means nowt....

Are we talking at the fly wheel..... bhp/ton or just for the standard motor.

Besides...torque is what ya need!

At a guess, I think I may be running around 110ish. That's a T-Sport with K&N panel filter with a Blitz Nur Spec R muffler. Need more though!!

I guess im running around 125BHP and 130LB/Ft of torque at the moment, hope to get some official figures soon.

And viper_7 is right it aint just the BHP that counts, throttle response, handling and stopping are worth as much as bhp/torque and day :thumbsup:
