Collected my Corolla Estate Icon three weeks ago after waiting patiently for it for 7 months.  The wait was expected due to the shortage of chips but now really happy that I finally have it.

I have been a Toyota Customer since the Nineties when I purchased a pre-registered Corolla 1.6 and it was after the Auris that I had 2 different makes but what brought me back to Toyota was the CH-R.  Really loved it and so did my wife, I now have the Corolla Icon Estate which is really marvellous to drive and quieter, absorbs all the bumps and plenty of room in the boot.

Regards

Nigel.

Hi Nigel, glad you like it. We plumped for the Yaris Cross.  We probably used the same dealer - Grantham.

Many thanks for all your warm welcomes, Roy I am near Lincoln so used Listers Toyota.

The Yaris Cross did attract my attention but  I needed a larger boot space this time round.

Nigel.

Nigel, that was the reason we went to an event in Grantham.  It was a choice between the Estate and the Corolla Cross.  The Cross for a higher seating position and the Estate for boot space.

However they had a Yaris Cross in the showroom.  The higher seating over the Estate won and the increased height allows for a significant luggage space under the boot floor.  This is ideal for the sundry c*** that gathers in the boot like jackets, umbrellas, etc.
