Nope nothing changed. This is just a concept design. I would love if bz4x had volume button like ford Mustang Mach-e 😍 as illustrated in this concept design.

This one is pretty interesting. Having taken delivery of the bz4x and driving it everyday for a month before the recall, I’ve never known the bz4x to have auto parking… I wonder if that’s a future update?

That feature is Not available in every country and then only on high end trim. I am almost 99% certain not part of the UK feature package

It is part of the top range UK models (not sure if it is motion edition) but only if started from dashboard. UK was supposed to have remote advanced parking assist but that was removed from delivery spec (potentially due to legal compliance)

It is available with UK trims. It is called advance parking assist.

The parking assist system are good only if you have the confidence to use them. I had self parall  parking on a couple of Skoda Yeti’s,  you needed to just select forward and reverse when instructed. You would need to drive at less than 15pmh pass potential parking spaces and it would tell you if it could get the car parked.

I tried it a few times and it did a great job but I think years of ‘being in control’ did not give me the confidence to use it as much as I might have done.

OK, missed that apologies, I think that would scare me even more and I’m not sure how I’d try to claim on the insurance if it went wrong. I always assumed I needed to be in control of the car at all times? People sometimes struggle to get the boot open with a remote button on the key fob.

Absolutely zero chance of us using that feature, can only trust technology so far.......

Just spoke with brand engagement and they said it’s not available in the US yet, but will be in future models. Hopefully that’s something that can be updated with software. Kind of sucks that I bought the limited fwd version but don’t have this feature, or something as simple as memory seat settings.

I saw it working in a video review, ill see if i can find it. The shown version, only applies to parallel parking. Think of a scenario where someone parked so close that you couldnt open the door. WIth this feature you could move the car forward at slow walking speed until you could access your car. You would need to hold a button on the key fob. Car would be in control of the movement, but only move while you're pushing a button on the fob.
