Hi,

front seats has built in air bags and any covers fitted should be tailor made  for the specific make and model. I personally would not fit any car seat covers unless I need to transport something, which I will cover temporarily and remove after the job is finished. I like to use the original upholstery of the car. Regular dry cleaning or with wet cloth does the job and keep the seats and interior nice and clean and for long time, if this is something that you are worrying about.

Seat covers kids always spilling drinks

I wouldn't give them drinks in the car Bruce, or make sure the containers are spill free 👍

The wife always has drinks and snacks to hand out to kids in car. Wanting durable covers even cabbie spec would be ideal.

We go out weekly trips in car don't want the seats ruined like the last car which had milkshakes and hot chocolate spill into the car seats and onto the floor was impossible to clean up even car valet place said you need to come back to get whole car inside washed for £100

Maybe one of those doggie hammocks someone posted in an older thread??

One thing I'd say is make sure whatever you get is waterproof, as seat covers aren't always water-proof and I guess you'd need a single-piece one, as the two-piece ones will have a gap that milkshakes etc. might run down behind the seat onto the hybrid battery

Hmm, thinking about it, while I was joking about the doggie hammock, a pet-rated rear seat cover might be the way to go as they'd be tougher and presumably waterproof!

You may have to modify whatever you get so that it doesn't obstruct the rear traction Battery fan if it has quite a long front 'skirt'.
