Toyota flex fuel for India

Hi all, what is the make up of this fuel I pesume its E15? will it come to the UK?.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but Flex-fuel is usually a label applied to E85-capable engines.

Ethanol/petrol blend. Flex fuel can vary between 51 and 83%, but can vary according to country and season (ie less ethanol in colder weather).

Do we still get E85 here? Morrisons used to sell it in some stations along with hydrogen and LPG but I hardly see any of those anywhere these days.

It's good stuff for racing engines and sustainability but the energy content is awful compared to petrol and diesel.

Makes sense for India as they could leverage their crops like Brazil does. MPG will bit awful, but hopefully still cheaper to run and less dependent on foreign oil!

Wouldn't work as well here as we don't really produce anything that can make that much alcohol AFAIK...
