Yaris Mk 1 rear wheel cylinders and shoes parts question

My daughter's Yaris has failed the MOT for rear brake imbalance and I want to replace the rear cylinders and shoes plus a couple of front brake hoses.  Rather than buy the individual parts for the rear brakes I would like to buy one of the kits which come with new adjusters (already assembled) 2 cylinders and the 4 shoes.   Her Yaris has the French braking system.  This Pagid kit at Euro car parts is what I am after.  https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/pagid-brake-shoe-kit-122820018 (I can get this kit for £82)

The only thing is when you look at the technical spec for the parts it says 'Non ABS' and they don't list any other type.  When I use a Toyota parts lookup (7zap) it shows the cylinders as 47550-0D010 (RH) and 47570-0D020 (LH) and part number for the shoes (04495-0D020) but lists no differences between ABS and non ABS.  So I am wondering if the Pagid kit might be suitable after all and it's just one of those parts lookup mistakes.  Can anyone help?   It's an '03 Spirit 1.3 Auto (with ABS!)  The Vin is VNKKL18300A080681

The first 5 digits are the group and part code, these have many variants as dictated by the last series of digits

give me a while and i will look up the parts

Full maintenance kit - 04901-0D011 (previously 04901-0D010) (includes cylinders)

rear cylinders - 47550-0D010 (LH and RH are the same part)

TMD friction - Mintex, Pagid, Textar are among a few of their brands

these kits are cross-referenced with part numbers for the shoes, in your case is 04495-0D020 (oem is Ferod)

Maintenance kit

Mintex - MSP248

Pagid - R1240

Abs and non abs are the same, ABS is to do with the hub (bearing and sensor)

Thanks for the reply 🙂  I don't fancy paying over £400 without the brake hoses.  Including the hoses that would be about 50% of the cars value!

I think I will go for the deal I've got, the brake hoses would add another £37 but Pagid are a reputable make and ECP are unlikely to be selling fake parts so I happy with that.

Thanks for your help. 🙂

Have a quick look on Autodoc, they may have a kit or some reasonably priced hoses.

I think I've got a spare replacement new cylinder (for my old yaris) if you need it?

That's a very kind offer but I have now ordered the new cylinders as part of the kit.

I did look at Autodoc but I got a couple of quality Blue Print/ADL hoses for about a tenner each elsewhere.   Autodoc are based in Germany so I do always wonder about returns or other problems.

yes, returns are a pain with Autodoc aka The car part mafia, had them bate and switch parts on me, instead of Moog i got sent their own brand, shipping can bump the costs up too is it's a heavy part

Generally get more choices and parts from Autodoc than ECP, though. I haven't had a problem with them yet. Just had to get brake backing plates from them for the Merc, as ECP didn't even list those. Now it seems to make more sense as to why they are offering a 200 day return window instead of 15 for extra money.

The choices available with Autodoc (and all those pseudonyms they operate under) is very good. True, shipping is a bit more expensive nowadays. But, do your homework properly and make sure the part is correct so you don't have to return parts. And if you do, then it is due to a mistake on their part and not yours.
