Screen goes very dark when dark

Hi, nice easy one hopefully. my (icon) screen is lovely and clear with my map in the daylight but in the dark (or in shade!) it goes very dark... is there a way i can change this setting to be a little lighter, as i cannot find this in the manual. thanks so much

Hi Claire, I know it goes darker as a safety feature so that you are not distracted while driving in the dark.

Not sure about changing the level, but will have a look at mine 👍

I don’t know which system you have but on the 9” smart connect version there are separate brightness controls for day and night in the display settings section
