Sill protection for Yaris

Hi all,

I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of my Yaris Design, hopefully in late Nov. Does anybody have experience with the self-adhesive (tape) sill protectors that are available?

Although the shiny stainless scuff guards look lovely, I'm thinking that they're not really needed, and you've got to draw the line somewhere when it comes to expense!

I bought some as a stopgap for my corrado. I think it was the 5cm width one in carbon fibre effect. Its quite thick and you cut it to length. However, the letdown is the double sided tape which is two strips along the outer edge instead of across the whole trim. This means there is a dip along the middle of the trim.which does detract from the overall effect. It also means moisture can get under it. That was about 3 years back so the newer ones may have the tape all the way across.  If so then its not too bad

Nick hi, I bought a stick on set with TOYOTA logo, from usual source. They were too wide for the Yaris. Original set advertised at £86.
