Changing sidelight bulb on 2011 estma

Hi all 

Has anyone replace a sidelight bulb ,

I look today under the bonnet and can't get to it ,so took the panel off under the wheel arch and managed to get the connecter off ,but unable to get the bulb out ,why do they make it so difficult to change a bulb ,any advice is welcome ,

Surely it can't be that difficult

All modern cars seem to make it a big job these days, usually a headlight out to change anything, on my old van the !Removed! front panel had to come off first!

Sadly, as said above, manufacturers seem to delight in increasingly making such things more and more difficult.

Changing a bulb at the side of the road as you were once able to do is now virtually impossible in many vehicles.

The Estima design is such that you need the hands of a Barbie doll to get to many items under the bonnet....my V6 is the same...there is just so little room to work....which is why it would end up going to the garage...lol

Hi all 

Changed sidelight bulb on my 2011 estima ,I took panel off under wheel arch and manage to get my hand up and turn anticlockwise and replace the bulb ,put it back in ,it's a bit awkward but can be done
