Bonnet release

2019 Yaris GR Hybrid - Is there a bonnet release sensor that could malfunction?  Bonnet found open to latch

there is no sensor/ bonnet pin, has the car had any work lately ?, someone checked the fluids or topped up the washer bottle ?

Thanks for reply - yes, had a minor prang recently & it went into bodyshop a couple of weeks ago but the bonnet was definitely shut tight since it's been back

The latch is out of adjustment, the bumper may be a little tweaked it closes but doesn't quite close fully, hit a bump, and it may pop the bonnet
