New Yaris Hybrid owner

Hello all!

Got a year old Yaris last week. So so happy with it. Came from a 208 automatic which was doing my head in. One test drive of the Yaris and I was sold and have not regretted it.

Loving seeing the mpg result after each trip and loving the way when I press the accelerator the car goes forward and continues to go forward which the 208 seemed to find difficult. That's when it wasn't turning its engine off for me when I was about to pull out into traffic.

I have a MK3 hybrid atm, cannot wait to get the MK4 next year.

By far the best Yaris yet the MK4, love mine and will be getting another when the time comes 👍

I had a regular petrol engine auto in the Focus and it was the same.  I got in the habit of disabling the stopstart because having it have to start the engine then apply drive with the natural delay of a slushbox was downright dangerous.

Eventually I discovered by accident, as it wasn't documented, that there was a switch on the brake pedal so it only triggered the stop if you pressed it down enough.
