Yaris Chipped

Just wondering, i bought MAX POWER, yes MAX POWER for something to read and look at whilst on the plane there and back (to ibiza).

In the back, for sale section, there was a 1L yaris chipped it said. Just wondering how much bhp this would have approx?

it was a while ago, am not interested in buyin! i already have a 1L yaris, exactly the same colour.

jus was curious as to what stats a chipped one wud have!

and the point in the chip would be

exactly................. usually with ecu chips (e.g super chips) the norm is, normally aspireated engines about 10/14 bhp and turbo'd engines up to 52 bhp (e.g my TT running at 276bhp) but with out knowing what chip the yaris has its hard to say.

if its a proper chip on a normal petrol engine you only get on average a 10% gain..

So thats about 5-6bhp!

he has probably bunged one of them so called chips (resistors ) of eBay for a couple of quid !!!!

5-6 would be the absoulte max on a good day

only thing al b gettin is an induction kit, just for the sound!
