Hello would a 2008 2.0 d4d be a risky buy with 200 000 miles what should I check when viewing and test driving the are  looking 1400 body look OK with few age related scrapes thanks

Depends any service history? And the price check for the usual blue smoke from the exhaust when reved although expect a bit with that milage check the brakes on test drive take your hands of the wheel and brake fairly hard and check for pulling left or right make sure there is nothing behind you though!

make sure no warning lights are illuminated and check for knocking from the suspension etc.

hi damian hows you boss would you not be tempted in going for a t27 there better looking and you should pick one of those up cheap enough. i bought mine from the british car auction. bca  i got a good enough deal on it and was fresh enough

Thanks for reply's the seller said he bought car lay up a while said he spend £450 putting through mot he said it probably need tyres lined no service history when ask the seller about service oil filter changes etc lad your be looking at at younger car this car not for you  looking £1400
