  • Dashboard coolant light appearing intermittently.
  • Have refilled the tank but cannot see dripping at rest.
  • Just changed oil, filter and cleaned the EGR.
  • Scan code reader shows normal.
  • A pressure hiss happens when removing the coolant cap once cool, as expected.
  • Am concerned driving may cause engine damage.

The photographed part connected to coolant hose seems suspect with a pink rim stain - what is it and should it be sealed?
