can the front end of a toyota corolla ae92 come off without having to cut it off?

are there any nuts and bolts i cant see which screw in order to take off the front end?

What do you mean by front end? Do U mean the bonnet/wings/slampanel????

Everything on the car should bolt off in some way, its just how hard it will be to do. The wings and the bonnet should bolt off easily.

The slam panel (piece of metal the bonnet catch sits in at the front of the engine, just behind the grill) can also be changed but you may need to drill out the welds.

If U aint happy with the performace of your car etc it strikes me as a bit of a waste of time doing all this work to it (welding in new arches, swapping the front end about, changing body panels). But thats only my opinion!

Hope this helps!

i dne most of the work to the car

it is just that where the bonnet clips into it is slightly bent

everything else on the car is now mint apart from little rust on the front two wings

now all i need is a bumper, bonnet, grill, left headlight, distributor cap and the little thing inside called a listeram

i'm gonna put it up for sale for 300 the way it is

brand new tyres on all wheels

low mileage 98k with full service history

No problem m8!

I think the bit U say is bent is the slam panel. This can be replaced but I think it means drilling out welds (It did on my civic). U can straighten it pretty much back to normal if U have the right kit (there is hardly any strength in the metal).

Good luck!

do u think there is any way that the front frame can come off starting from the bottom of the windscreen to the front of the car.

i have taken off the front two wings, bumper, bonnet and lights i just dont know where any of the screws are

is it possible to take off the chassis frame and replace it? hast it got screws and bolts that take it off?

I dont think this comes off as it is an integral part of the chassis. The engine also bolts to it so it would be a big job even if it was possible!!!

If the car has been in a front end shunt your best bet is to have all the damage pulled out and the car jigged. This is often not as expensive as it sounds.
