Corolla 22MY what user guides that come with the car?

Dear club members,

I recently accepted delivery our new 22MY Corolla Touring Sport.

The dealership provided one user guide which I have been reading however its not very detailed. Should the Corolla have come with individual guides for the Navigation, Entertainment, etc or are the 22MY cars only provided with one manual?

So far I have answered most of my questions by reading forum topics on your club site but I am sure I will be using this forum more and more over the next few weeks!

I think you are supposed to download the manuals from the Toyota website.

I did download some of the manuals from the website but they did not seem to be for the 22MY Corolla. Did your Icon Tech come with only the single user guide?

When I collected my 2019 TS, it had nothing I was told to download the manuals, which I did and they are good for a reference. However I contacted Toyota UK & they sent me both a car & infotainment manual. 

Whether they still print them at all in these troubled times I don't know, but could be worth a try.

My car came with a very good 251 page user guide and an old fashioned service and warranty booklet with space for dealer service stamps. I understand that all Toyota service data is now kept as a computer record and they will give you a printout of your cars service record on request. The booklet is useful however as it shows what should actually be checked or replaced at each service.

The user guide provided with my car back in March does not cover the 2022 model audio system but the Toyota website has now been updated with the 2022 model updated unit.

Dear All,

Thank you so much, for the responses, they have been very informative.

Lee, the media manual explains much of what I was looking for regarding park assist, media and maps that the user guide only glossed over.

I will now be looking at your threads for both navigation and software updates!

Our 22MY Corolla was handed over with a user guide, service book and certificate of conformity only the next time I am passing my dealership I will ask for a hardcopy of the media manual.

hi, i had the same problem back in march , the book was useless , the download from the toyota web site the same but was given a link on here which sorted my problems ,i would have thought that this problem would have been sorted by now.
